When airport warden flag u ( urgent need of cab), we can bypass the normal queue and take shortest route to pick up bay?

If you end up in Ghim Moh / Sembawang Hills, that mean you are not good, you should be in CBD plying for the 13 paxs. The kiosk is for you to Stop there and do some soul searching on why you end up there.

When airport warden surrendered and wave flag, you can bypass them and go straight into the Q area, and wait for the peak period to start or for fri, sat and sun, wait for the $5 surcharge, those who drive straight in and pick up paxs are conned by the warden.

Ghim Moh taxi kiosk belong to CDG, is 1 of their branch office for registering of relief and simple paper work....
Sembawang Hill taxi kiosk already cease operation, but their committee still maintain that kiosk for gathering purpose, anyway they lease from land office only for a minimum sum, even come with 3 taxi parking lots, but knn those civil car always want to pretend like a taxi....
When Airport warden dancing and wave at you, meaning is time to park 1 corner, go pee, buy kopi, eat roti, smoke break, pcc.........and wait for $5 surcharge to kick in.....

haha....knn...... teach bad big and small.
i do noticed that more hirers are looking for relief (esp fire engines) and more taxis are plying the roads during peak hrs....
must be many scared of 250km warning....

when you notice that, you should follow bowah advise, go to ghim moh/sembawang do some soul searching............. should you add in to the saturated taxi fleet.......... is it time to tell taxi company something........... how far you can go on his line..........
mostly, people will end up for the 13 paxes and feel that is a great achievement....... properly that the greatest thing they can do.

The 250km rule is only applicable to taxi companies, not taxi driver. However Taxi companies are trying hard to translate it into taxi drivers, which is not fair.The rule will be at 280km early next year and increase to 300km. The km is a monthly compounded average, not a daily figure, meaning if in 30days the taxi can cover 7,500km on the road, this taxi passed the rule, so, it is in a way that if you drive 100km today, 200km the next day, but the following day you siao siao drive 400km, it is ok, as long as the monthly figure divided by 30 days can meet the 250km, its fine.
Red engines..TC unlike cdg is not proactive in helping their hirer to get relief, end up LTA set up a portal for all hirer, which I see, also not so successful.
What TC will do is very simple, to move drivers to get higher mileage, increase the rental, and to justify higher rental, increase the flag down rate and also introduce newer taxi like Renault Latitude.
