one question : when accidents are caused by some other drivers hit and run mistake, we report to COY, are we supposed to pay? as such situatuion maybe hard to prove if its a genuine hit and run though

Door panels cost $200 each, because door must remove lots of thing and need to fix back, rear and front side, cheap cheap lah, $100 can liao, so event he cheapest cdg can quote is $600...+ if you got ar one inside, maybe only $500

And cdg sub out all spraying and beating to its subsidary like Spark or singapore automobile.
As such taxi that get into accident, can change very fast one lah, 1 to 3 days on the road liao, except if you kissed the engine.

I tink I have to go back to reapply the advertisement..don't know must pay or not.
Then today very heng...drop pax at macritchie..park car and rest there..go pee wee..come back see monkeys surround my cab and stupid 1 monkey go tear off sticker on the other side and the roof top one...I got the pic on my phone..

likely workshop choose easy way out instead of time consuming panel beating, why should they help customer save $. more issue if workmanship no good.

No ley, sticker cannot fix outside .Adv sticker have to go back lor..no choice..I like the adv sticker anyway, help protect against scratches.
The damages all fixed leow. Bumper rashes, dents, all knocked back..workmanship is decent.

Bumper rashes, dents knocked back still can see the scratches/accident paint markings drop off or not?

1 thing "good" about letting CDG's approved workshop to do the "touching up" is that they don't knock here, knock there, spray here, spray there...
If left door kanna, change whole left door, if bumper drop, change the whole bumper with nice paint and finishing...
That's explain why so expensive and fast, outside workshop charge lesser but some workmanship like shit, pay peanut get monkey job lor...
But if you want to proceed with proper claim procedure, got to be careful, no 3rd party claim consider 1 time accident, pay $1k, than pray hard don't kanna again...
No 3rd party claim, meaning you only claim your self, most time is your own fault, like bang tree, bang wall, bang lamppost, bang traffic light....
1 of my friend last time bang a stone on the road, that stone hit his taxi under carriage so badly that transmission gearbox leak, pay $1k, waiting for spare part for 2 months, si beh sway....

Tia gong replace of advertisement sticker not cheap...
Sometime will see some taxi, 1 side have advertisement, 1 side don't have...
But don't get caught by CDG's officers, sure lim kopi...

I took too little frm the lady leow, if not, I would have prefered co workshop to repair..at least no loose end and everything swee swee.
I was actually contemplating to top up and do at co but very hard pain coz is not my fault....
Now have to put aside some $$ everyday for the adv replacement. In the meantime, cross my finger lor and hope no need to pay for adv replacement. I only took $20 voucher for the adv..if must pay for replacement is very bo wah.

And taxi coy got to give cash benefit to lure them...
Sometime at that moment, you will forget that actually this type of case just report, somemore that lady gong gong wait for you to come back....

I like the lady style actually. Yes..at that time, I forget can claim one...was just so happy that she waited and everything just forget.
I also the gong gong type leave phone number for people to call back.
It actually happened to me..I knock into someone car when reversing..left my number.
Sadly, no one call me..they just claim insurance and say I hit n run.
Like you say...just claim..much better..if the guy is to call me, how much can I afford to pay him anyway?? His is a high end car.

As TD, learn to do networking, more so for limo drivers, those you think got nothing to you can become a gem in future, network with those accident guys in your taxi companies, then when problem arises (hopefully nothing) touch wood, at least you can have to contact mah, best is buy kopi, some snacks, talk nicely to them, introduce yourself and said hello to all of them. Once they ate, they shall have to pay later. Nothing is free right??
Like my former chief, his cunning aside, he is infact a good networking person if look from a neutral perspective. And that is also why I still respect him...lols
