Rich? how can driving taxis make TD rich??The purpose is to make you poor, so that you become so hungry but not to the extend of dying, and moderately with some strenght and energy to drive on the road looking like a hungry vulture.
On the other hand, there are also rich drivers who just drive to cover rental and fuel cost, after that, is another business that can really make them rich, not Taxi driving.

low income in today singapore context is at $2,800, so if you are earning $2.800 you are consider poor, and below it, which I am, you are the poorest. But taxi drivers are earning $7,000, tio bo?

Everyday, you start with $0, before you start engine, diesel and rental started with $0 also...
As you drive along, you will see the input of $ and at the same time output of $....
Than the next day, everything start again, don't forget, is regardless of OMO or Relief...
So in order to get rich this way, unless you have a blessing health, never say die mentality, drive and drive until head gong gong, than maybe got slight chance...
Arbo, when you started with $0, how to escalate your earning with high profit?...
Even you got ton of $ to pump into taxi, the result will still be the same, taxi won't generate profit if you don't drive...

Hello, you failed miserably as a financial accountant in Taxi driving.
In Taxi driving, everyday before you start, you r in a liability. And in accounting, liability should be reduce in order to offset for higher accrue profit, but in taxi driiving that liability keep increasing.
A liability is much worst than a debt, because it is a going concern debt that can never end, and it is alway the liability which make one entity to carry on working/driving and working. Therefore, by sustaining the liability, it can ensure that you will be on the road for at least 250km

Aiyo, actually I wanted to say taxi driving is a liability, but think think, nobody force us to becum 1 leh...
Than at least for CDG's hirer, we always will owe 1 day rental no matter how prompt you bank in your rental...
Why? because CDG practice rental deduction 1 day backward, meaning, today deduction is for yesterday rental and so forth...that's explain why Monday, they need to deduct 3 days, because Fri, Sat, Sun they don't collect rental...
So my theory on start engine with $0 dollar and $0 rental is valid...

No lah, I $30 very happy liao, many people said I look young for my age, why? because happy mah, struggle $100 or $30, end of the month also same same,and for most TDs, the more you earn, at times, the more worst you become, like last time I can earn $200++ net per day, but spent here on bak bak,
spent there on buying, smlj also buy, eat lavishly, becos can earn mah, then not enuf, struggle more and more..drive until blur blur, ..

Rental delay paying is also a cost, in accounting, we call it accrued liability. Many of us have accrued liabilities, from hp bills, to powersupply bills to bak bak bills and so on. All these are reflected on your balance sheet, and if your balance sheet is not balance, you are in deep shit..lols -
