Yes indeed! At the very 1st point,he is stupid to rob a taxi driver which is one of the poorest blue collar working class, probably the same class as Bangladesh sweeper or lower. He should have choose to rob some rich people instead staying Nassim Hill,Sixth Avenue,Amber Garden,Tanglin.....the list go on.
Crime start from Orchard , after robbed went back to Orchard.
How much u can get from a taxi driver ???
The suspect is not young but 40 yrs old.
What a Goondu !
I counted the cash fm the pic n it's $252 if iam not wrong plus a old school hp,wah lan it's a disgrace n insult to armed robbery leh lol
The picture could be taken from somewhere else, may not reflect the actual amount.
However, u won't get more than 500 from a cabbie.
Many cabbie used iphone or samsung now, can see booking and airport info.
Yeah..really dumb robber. After rob, still take taxi to Orchard. Victim got all the time to take note of culprit's description. Weekday, 3.30 am - how many people walking around in Orchard road? Easy to detect, easy to find.

This alone give you a very good reason why you can interview, if LTA caught up with you on why you interview paxs, you can tell them that TD must be wary and vigilant, if passengers aske to be taken to isolated destination, I must reject and alert call centre mah.
And to define isolated places, there are many from sembawang to yishun to woodland to CCK..

NEA officer replied, ok ok, please dun do it the next time.
Aiya, please lah, be more smart and wise in yr life mah, TD in Singapore on average have a higher IQ then most other people you know...but dunno why come to authority only, all hand shake and brain stuck liao, even lau char bo mod also scare...haiz!..oh should be Haze!
The victim was then directed to drive to Orchard Rd where the suspect alighted.
I like this part, after rob, still want free ride back...
This one not so much lah, at least the victim is smart, stay calm, never go wrong road, give in, then when pax goes off, he reported to his company and police. Police get into action, he safely go home, company stopped his rental fees for a few days for him to get over the shocke then drive on.
Police recovered his lost, company still help him out with DRO and stop his rental fees when he attended court, brought the culprit to court and settled
Unlike Some get whacked jialat jialat for going the wrong way, and pax just walk away...lols
