Most driver will pay $80 if their partner is on leave. But sometimes also depend on your relationship with your hirer.
When my hirer on medical leave, i will covered the full rental n help him to deposit into the bank for giro deduction.
I think you got the right not to take over the full shift...
But of course, it work 2 ways, next time you want to go holiday, also need him to cover...
I know some of my friends, for hirer/relief relationship, will cover full rental...

That's about 80% rental
btw, is it a must to cover the other party when he's away?
as I feel cover hirer or other party works like as if u getting a super relief driver

Meaning full cost when either party not on duty?
i think this dont make sense as when either party not driving, the remaining party just actually need to top up a little more rental to make more $$, if driver can cope..
What about when one party go ICT? how to calculate the rental?

If super relief, take a common cdg sonata, the rate is $70 to 75, you can get it at cdg office at sin ming, if not can look for me at loyang level 3, for TC, go defu level one look for one hammer head..lols, if still cannot go limo group and look for Paxon, the superman of taxi driving, smlj also can.
As for your usual relief who are driving for you, it is more of a mutual understand between both of you, and as some said, in later part, he or she might also need you to cover them.
For super relief, as the dates get closer, the price goes down more, for example, if you ask me to take over in 3 to 5 days time, or even a week, I will tell you $65 to $70 for sonata, like or not, up to you, but if you tell me no lah, knn, how to be so low..$80 lah, then I ask you go fly kite at west coast park.
As a hirer myself,I feel tat it's not a "must" tat my relief hv to take over my shift wen iam away on holiday etc etc,but I'll still ask him if he's interested n ofcoz wit a discount rate like $70-$75 if daily rental is at $100.
Like everyone said,it's still boils down to relationship between both, once my relief went for cataract ops n can't drive for 2weeks,I didn't take a single cent fm him, just told him to takecare n recover well.
Then wen he went holiday to china,he auto put advance half rental without me asking. As for ICT I would suggest for half rental($25) But still depends how gum are both.Best to discuss openly to avoid disputes.
The above are just my personal views as a hirer

So basically market norm is 1/2 of the person's share of rental when not driving
anything will be personal goodwill between both, but if one party is very anal, always set the rules, high chance will blow the partnership then...
if relationship is good, then both will take steps to maintain if you want long term good working relationship.
if from the start is uneasy, then better prepare look for the next hirer.
Yalor, finding a gum relief or hirer is more difficult than finding a bak bak woman leh.
I got a gum hirer now, even we go holiday will buy stuff for each other after returning, he like fishing, so I relief whole day for him, went he return from his fishing trip, he will give me some fishes, I was like..what the fish?
Those know me one can tell you I top up fuel tank till overflow one, after pump clicked, still pump in another $10 slowly until the one Q at the back of me kpkb show me middle finger and shouted..knn woei! Uncle!!, pump diesel leh, you thing pang sai ar..hehehe
Wash car include wipe and shine tire, wipe inside all the seats, steering, panel etc etc, then go $4 washing +$2 tip to washer to wash nice nice. Everyday
If like this, hirer still not gum with me, something wrong liao, then during CNY, he give me ang bao, thanks me for helping him to top up 250km everyday...lols. Open ang bao, knn, only $18 nia, but better than nothing.

Of course when I talking about my friends are those knn limo drivers...
Very different ball game la...
When hirer go holiday, all his lobang, limo jobs 1st priority sure given to his relief first mah...
Rental to them is secondary la...

Some share incentives to buy season parking

No lah, gatong squeaky sound is mostly shaft not so good liao, either you spray WD 40 or change it, springs are still ok.
It is not dangerous, just that the sound is very irritating and you lack absorbing function leading to bigger impact on road uneven and humps, also taxi height get lowered unfortunately, taxi use stock gatong, pte car can use those height adjustment gatongs to jack it up.
At least it is not about engine, which is dangerous and can get burnt. That time, no need me send you off liao
