I was thinking this is about ah pool's car..haiz. Thread damn misleading.
Carpooling is not new in Singapore lah, in the 80's and 90's already got such scheme liao...but why it hasn't take off??

morning time lagi best. arguments will come just on erp itself then after that who drop first.
then less jam easier to move.
now still almost 100k for a car, you think people pay bomb want do car pool?
since last year some of the taxi co try cab pool, smrt is one. until now no noise, not effective la.

Last time I army time, wanted to carpool my camp mates to Hendon Camp...
Upfront want to collect $, all say wait for 10th payday...
Than when 10th payday, all pattern more than badminton...
Sometime I pay those bangala upfront to wash my car every night, knn don't know tomorrow he will be still there or not...
The wetside can talk until so good, but on the ground, you try, you cry...

The downside is human characteristic and instinct, very much like animals, we all have protective behavorial, like my former chief, he protected his playground, never to let other mess with it, or that even a child, nobody can touch or enter his or her without permission, we all like to have privacy, and pte car mean privacy.Even you also like private office, private room, private chat..sex..toilet..so on. Therefore carpooling failed miserably, and if 3 is to pool a car, who is going to do the cleaning, why so dirty, who do the sending for servicing, whose baby vomitted and never wash proper, who kenna summon?..and so on.
Even taxi, a hirer and relief also got problem, not to mention those pooling private car drivers with high egos and prides.

Paxs become taxi drivers liao..how to have paxs? One paxs become TD, if his family got 4 members, mean 4 paxs gone on the road, cos now they can call their husband or daddy to fetch them.
So if 200 new taxi drivers on the road, 200x4 meaning 800 or more paxs off the road liao..like this..how can??
