GPS got show taxi stand location?

  TD using GPS, how did you manage to reach the taxi stand or drop off point?

  Can gps reach the taxi stand of the destination? Garmin dont seems to have any taxi stand thing.

  I heard that marbella gps can reach the taxi stand of the location? Any one using marbella can confirm if got this? Can like type in destination like "vivo city taxi stand"?

  I have tried demo sets of garmin and marbella, but I dont find it showing taxi stand, maybe I dont know how to use it correctly.

  Can explain how it works? Lets say if you want to go vivo city taxi stand, what steps do you press to reach there?

  If pax wants to go xxx shopping centre, I thought should drop off at taxi stand correct. I am newbie never go a lot of buildings before so taxi stand I am not sure where is it.

  Usually GPS just roughly send you to any side of the building correct? So I thought if GPS can guide to the taxi stand will be better.

  Oic, the more you on the road will soon familiar with various taxi stand location or drop off point...

  And sometime you will just prefer to drop off pax in any location than the taxi stand, like Takashimaya, certain timing is jam like hell just to go in...

  goto: POI sellect: - transport den - taxi stand bottom right hand corner sellect 'define' and 'search' keyboard will appear, key in vivo You can also search at POI I think. key in taxi stand den vivo may yield same result. Most of the time when in doubt I ask pax entrance to taxi stand and they will guide me.

  no need so detail,gps found the bldg for u,still need to guide u to taxi stand?how about i urgent,i ask gps to find for me toilet?

  I am just comparing gps functions. I understand it might not be important to experienced drivers. Can also ask gps to find nearest petrol station if you want.

  Most buildings will have signage or directions to go to the taxi stand or drop off points. Very hard to miss. Anyway, nowadays so many taxis around most taxi stand...just follow them.

  Garmin is decent enough for most new drivers. But as time goes by, you don't really need it anymore.
