Believe most TD agreed that 31st May 2013 is a Super Huat day.
From all HDB area to Airport all Terminal to MBS, CQ, BQ。。。。
All full of Pax.
But why suddenly $ $$ $$$

Most companies give out mid year bonuses for employees to enjoy school holidays, and also now school holidays, many going overseas, and it is also a paid day, with with 2 to 3 month or even 1 month bonuses + salary, you think we Huat or they Huat??
Sing dollar appreciation also cause people to spend
Inflation had gone down to 3.5%, reduction in COE and with higher salary increment expected due to foreign quota reduction, political pressure and a very tight labour market also contribute to people getting higher pay and spending power.
However, the slight rise in interest rate will certainly dampen some high spender, borrowing will be more difficult for companies to endure, but then, our interest is already at all time low.

How many ah huat in Singapore ar??? Let me see and counts...ar..there are about 110675 peoples with a Huat in their name. But in reality, only 5% Huat, rest all working or taiko class -

Pay increment, bonus for 2013 expected to dip: report
SINGAPORE: Global consulting firm Hay Group has predicted cautious pay rises for Singaporean workers as 2012 comes to a close.
In its latest report, the group said pay increases and bonuses for next year are expected to slide.
Hay Group said salary increases averaged 4.6 per cent this year — slightly higher than the 4.4 per cent in 2011. But pay increases for next year are expected to dip 0.2 percentage points back to 4.4 per cent.
The Singapore Human Resources Institute agreed, saying increments will hover around 4 per cent.
The Institute expects the manufacturing, construction and logistics sectors to face a tighter squeeze.
The Institute’s executive director, David Ang, said: "For those company who are not doing well, and it’s sort of breaking even.
"I think the important thing is to inform the workers on the prospect of their business and at the same time collectively bite the bullets to hope for better times to come."
As for bonuses, the actual average variable bonus this year is said to be 2.6 months. For next year, it is expected to dip slightly to 2.5 months.
The Hay Group said hiring seems to have picked up in Singapore, despite the continuing uncertainty in the global economy.
Fifty—eight per cent of those surveyed said they are planning to increase staffing levels, compared to 50 per cent this time, last year.
But economist Dr Tan Khay Boon from SIM Global Education said this does not mean firms will splurge on hiring.
Dr Tan said: "The company want to meet the demand for the customers and therefore they need more workers to help them out in the operations. But, they are also very careful about the bottom—line.
"That’s why they prefer to hire the worker at the same cost or better still, at the lower cost instead of expanding the cost to get the workers."
Leading the hiring outlook in the survey are the engineering (33 per cent), sales (29 per cent) and financial (21 per cent) sectors.
Turning to the region, the Hay group said high—growth Asian economies like China, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines can expect significant pay rises in 2013.
The survey, conducted in September, covered over 500 Singapore—based companies from both the private and public sectors.
They were polled on their business sentiments and salary and bonus projections for the next 12 months.

Sometime, 5 hrs also cannot hit 125.
Me don't have this luck and skill..dun morning first pax go benoi cres can leow.
Kena dun know how many times, Penjuro still not so bad...at least can turn into Clementi...$32 - $40 fare, after that chui...

Aiya, the term "Huat" apply differently across the board of all TDs in Singapore, like me, another $20 more than my usual net $50, I call it Huat liao, some even $5 more, also huat, some $100 more also said not huat.
When Huat time, there are some never huat, this is understandable, but when OBK time, we all OBK together, and OBK can last for weeks and month, but Huat is only on particular individual days. And when you finally do a monthly financial update, you still find it the same, then end up instead of �, most end up �风

Luck is definitely an abstract, meaning, nobody can predict it.Skill in TD is not really about other having skill, it is in your mindset? It either you want to change yr pattern of driving, try out a few pattern, some with calls, some Q, some sweep..and then, you can option to adopt which pattern that suit you best in term of $$ and also convienences and other factors.
Driving Taxis is about you, not Cdg, not LV or not your buddies, you decide what you want to do with the information and tools given, information from buddies, information from companies, tools from LV, smartphone, GPS, talkies, that even encompass software like taxi forum..parlingo etc etc, this are all yr tools and information. And the finally decision is you, your experiences and what you want to do with the taxis.

just thankful exams end.
at first looking shortfall 500 this month, because of wed to fri, shortfall only 200.
30th more huat, friday though huat can see a lot of weekend td, not easy to catch.
update on sentosa. appealed. come back ok we give you 33% discount. so pay 50.
