  what status should be the roof top be and why?

   

  BUSY or HIRED, ireegardless if the fare is paid or not

  Regardless whether is your friends or familys or your wife or your children on board the taxi..

  Meter must be on, roof top must show "Hired"...

  Mainly due to insurance coverage...

  If I'm not wrong, that's a fine pertaining to the above offence, I can't remember how much already..

  As long as there are POB, the cab MUST be HIRED.

  Or else any accident, insurance will not cover.

  For me, I will start meter and change to flat rate : $0.10

  but sometimes if with friends u on meter,ur friend will think he is going to pay fare later!so misunderstanding with friends!but still better than being caught witnhout meter on!

  Friends pay you then is consider good and understanding friend, but of course in a friendly way, you reject it. Some friends who took my cab with meter on, tell them about the insurance issue, they glady agreed, cos they also can be protected mah.

  Then later reach destination, tell them, no need no need to pay, aiyo mai lah mai lah..then they just throw $10 or $20 and walk away and said, no lah, bowah, you cari makan not easy, take it hor,..bye bye..these are good friend. Then I quickly grab the money and put it in my left pocket

  Must also add surcharges if needed hor, if not insurance will also not cover if you said you take them from City or AP.

  Now, can set your meter to private booking..

  Press K1 and K4 after start meter. Then  use K2 K3 K4 set the rate. If set wrongly Press K3+K4 to reset to 0

  If I still can remember, for CDG, once you start meter, your MDT screen should have this icon on Private Booking, press on it and key in 0.01, of course can key in any amount, but 0.01 is the smallest lor..

  If disposal rate how? Max can put on meter is only $8.
