S'pore ranked 7th cheapest taxi fares in the world

Check out which countries beat us, and which ones we are behind of.In an earlier article, Singapore came in second in the world for 'Best taxi services'.According to Rocketnews24, these latest results are based on how far of a distance S$12.20 can get you.They are obtained from the countries' taxi companies as well as tourism centres.Here is the full ranking:25. I don't agree that 12.20 can get you this far in Singapore
If based on optimal conditions, no peak, no surcharges, no stopping at traffic light, no waiting , no booking, non limo / premier cab, etc
S$12.20 can only go max max 17km, the report anyhow hamtum
but in reality , sometimes S$12.20 can't even go 2km
(Calculation is Base on the lousiest veh, toyota crown 1st km 3.00, every subsequent 400m 22 cents till 10km , after 10km jump 22cents after 350m
1st km S$3.00 next 9km 22.5jump * .22 = S$4.95, next 7km 20jump x .22 = S$4.40)

Tripadvisor is a net hotel operator, if you book them, you will find it more expensive than you book it yourself. And to make them looking more brighter and confident, they will do this statistic and that statistic without even doing an in depth empirical survey that can stretch for years, just asking taxi companies is not an empircal statistic. Therefore, not accurate and nonsensical.
Even if you sue them, they had clearly said, this is only an information base on taxi companies, not them. They should better advice on the trip than on taxi fares. lols
It is part of tripadvsior business tactic to protray their image as a knowledged one, which is actually, rubbish.

I agree with the report.
That's why TDs in Singapore are so poor things and got to work 18 hrs a day just to survive..So, pax must be more understanding.

Board at Rivervale Dr.
Street Fare.
RD - Upper Serangoon Rd - Viaduct - Bendemeer CTE - Exit BT - KK Hospital.
12.5KM.
Report like this will get us into trouble with the tourists.
Bloody irresponsible.

i just went to cdg to join the waiting list for i40, they said no shipment, next month got new sonata $115, knn, think i sontong kia ah, $10 difference from old price, more difficult to get relief, they said eventually all will be the same, by the time things balance up, i already drive until backside on fire liao, rather wait for i40 $127, but have to wait for more than 6 mths.
