some td while providing svc like to talk to pax like they're chairman/ceo, if i'm pax i also want to wack the td, in the eyes of pax, we're only a td, our passed have no meaning to them, sometimes they ask abt our previous job juz to satisfied their curiosity that's all.

Sometime by opening up a conversation better than total silence in the taxi.....
But I always avoid chit-chatting with pax on Politic, Company, Authority.....

some ppl without authority, they're just plain....... seen a lot at those sick work places.... after being a td, i'm glad that i don't have to entertain those workplace politics anymore, just work hard and end day smile at my collection...brotherhood? knn... still living in the 70's meh?

That's what I said about what role you play or what hat you are wearing, if you start the taxi, you are a taxi driver, full stop. At home, a father role, at kopitiam, smlj role also can play, in forum, you are another role, you all never heard that life is like a movie meh? Got thrill, love, action, comedy and suspense one leh..lols
When I don the taxi driver role, and pax ask me about myself, I will not just keep quiet, sometime it is impolite to just keep quiet, u need to reciporcate to break the ice.
For me, alway stay below pax status,
if pax is a CEO, I am a worker, if pax is a supervisor, I am also a worker, if pax is a worker, I am a TD, sometime worst than a worker, and when pax ask about my living,
I will bring out all my mother, father, grandma, grandpa, 3 childrens, mother in laws, father in laws with one man driving and about 10 eating, then like tear want to come out,
I will choke on my word and tell pax that I have to take on casket driving, security guards job after my shift, sex 2 education and all that...then end of trip, $14, pax give $20, Uncle uncle please keep the change, I hope you and family all the best, you are a good and honest person.
Ani hor, take that $6, go pek kio eat fish soup lor, then see if can meet up with my idol, chief pool or not.

Just like for example, I am a TD, my sec sch friend is a Sales Director a at MNC, another friend is a businessman, and everyone seems to be better doing than me.. Sure I will envy them.
then maybe, one day all of us have gathering, then this Sales Director come and ask cigarette from me, then when paying bill time, this businessman friend k Siao go toilet blah blah blah... Knn... All better than me then how come still take advantage??? Then the story or 心病 will start... Haizzz...
tale it easy... There are still some people who are just happy with their lots and these people are really the happiest people.
ever wondered why news rate ingaporeans as an unhappy lot? Because all of us are always trying to outdo each other blah blah lah... Take it easy...

I think over there is better for him, enclosed, they can talk whatever they want, curst rbs, curst bowah, nobody know, only their own brotherhoods know, in hokkien, we say "ka ki gong, ka ki song".......
So with his character, if he can stay that way for long, god bless liao......
