Talking about good food most of the Taxi Uncles know, because everyday Taxi from day and night...North to South, East to West every corner in Singapore were good food most of us got chance to sample it, and this is the advantage. Ask just like Guru ALN where is the good pig organ soup, he will introduce Serangoon food centre not (not chomp chomp)..Ya.... But there is also another stall not bad at Tiong Bahru Food Centre, Koh Brother. But unfortunately Guru is driving Night shift they are close. So we will continue our journey on this search and we share.
i'll be watching this thread.
Purvis Street near Raffles Hotel there are a few chicken rice eateries over there. What is your choice Guru Food Critic ALN... look like the Hainanese chicken rice war began all over there recent day. for me i go for Yet Con what about you.
haha… depends on taste too..
chay kuay tiao – after trying so many, i think 2 stalls at toa payoh lor 5 still earn my vote… cheap ($2) and nice…. no award but confirm wont lose to those overrated ones at old airport ($3)
nasi lemak – Adam road second stall, beat those changi village ones flat….
Good choice chay kuay teow, talking about toa payoh lor 5, the same food centre behind the claypot stall, the teochew fish ball noodle, minced pork noodle, fried hokkien noodle also can consider. but there is two bbq stall selling chicken wing the old stall is still a crowd puller on the left. wow... food critic Guru Aln your hidden talent no horse run...good lobang. good lobang.

ALN, for the char kuay tiao, isit blk 75 there? i live around that area lols
refer to the Sunday Times today edition..
last pg of the life section features a female cabby who knows gd makan places..
cabbies usually find FOC public car park eating place, with TREE, or shade
and these place usually also cheap, fill stomach, "can be eaten"

Hallo Guru Aln this kind of white chicken rice very common with ligth soy -sauce and sesame oil on it, anywhere you can find...go for Boon Tiong Kee this kind they are still the strongest in this field. My opinion.
My recommedation before they are not doing this with the soy -sauce or sesame oil all on the original taste and order the steamboat to go along or their sambal Kang Kong or roast pork, food we can never say the best just good or bad and the prices and taste.
Those Food Critic on TV or on Paper just pay them some reward they will do their top of the best on their writeout or Pin Pong Pian as they like on TV. The next day a long Q on sight infront of the stall or shop.
Wow, how can you use a single bamboo stick to wipe off the entire boat on cabbies. You know some cabby like me or Guru Aln and others we got private car. We never go around just by taxi only with free parking or tree or shade or cheap to fill our's stomach.. not at all friend. never judge the book by the cover. yo what say you. see something say something.
beef noodle – amoy.....
just my choice and taste… no offence..
one more contribution.
Ang Mo Kio st22 the first Coffee shop entrance to car park on your left... can never be wrong. many Taxi Uncles are there alway everydays.

haha… depends on taste too..

yes those two stalls equal Q of supporter.
Adam road second stall, beat those changi village ones.
my report ...why? the rice that they used is bismati rice same like those nasi beryani yellow rice, that make the different and with coconut milk make the smell more fragrant, the chicken wing is about the same, but i order the (full house set ) of $4 with one otah, egg, ikan billis, chicken wing and two slice of cucumber and with chilli,
But the first stall is offering sambal prawn chilli, will like to taste and compare it.
