No..if you see closely..it actually brokedown on the first day morning
SMB3511H was late a minute for 850E first trip...bus left the first stop, seems like the bus is almost fully seated from the opposite view. A few passengers didn't board though(even though they can).
Error 101

That is weird... maybe they were waiting for 804... and not 850E... otherwise why will you not board ADL... also I am sure at first stop, bus didnt get 50+ pax.. must have been 30-35 ppl boarding.

They board the 2nd ADL. Base on my camera, 3511H left around 7:26am.
Haha I believe it's 25-35 bah...but it looks almost full(fully seated) from opposite side Prob 850E should get 1 more ADL for the fleet, that should be enough.

I think they should reduce fleet size to 6 buses with 3 ADLs, 3 MANs... ADL, MAN, ADL, MAN, ADL, MAN... with more spacing between MAN and ADL and lesser between ADL and MAN.

Are the two ADLs back to back? I don't think so...
I think 1st and 3rd bus is ADL.

The only problem of such route is return leg will be completely empty, hence will be difficult to implement.
But LTA should consider introducing route from Sembawang via Yishun Ring road connecting to Bukit Batok/CCK area or connecting to St.Michael's... such route will get pax in both direction.
For CBD 850E kind of routes are best.

You mentioned about "P variant" services before, at around May this year, where the services only operate in one direction, without returning to their origins.
We can have "P variant" services on such routes.

I dont like the P variant concept.. it is useless... and waste of resources.
When you have the "E" variant.. what's the need for the P variant.
Let's look at the current P variants we have.
240P (goes totally empty)
268P (goes totally empty)
307P (doing okay... but never to the capacity of sv 307)
291P (people are forced to board by ground staff... yet each bus only takes 30 pax or so while SBST buses take 70 pax and DDs take 80+ pax
293P (same as 291P)
358P/359P (doing okay... as capacity on existing services not good enough... 359 would be a good case for DDs)
222P (doing okay.. but only 20-25 pax... compared to what SBST services get)
* Also note the P variants are much slower than SBST services as the P buses wait longer at bus stops, almost trying to convince people to board.

222P's loading depends whether 222 or 22P arrive at Ping Yi Sec first during PM Peak. If it arrives before 222, 222P can get almost full load sometimes. 222P should be extended to at least Bedok 85 to help 222 clear the Bedok North pax at Bedok MRT. 222 DDs rarely clear that pax alone.

Not sure I agree with you if you really see the # of pax. But yes one of the P services doing better than most others. I hate the P variants and the kind of buses they use on it. Just my opinion.

the P service should use sign board like the old sbs service big red sign board and at the side also the sbst type of sign plate also LTA should put up note on the bus stop for people to know about the service and LTA adv on the side of the bus.

Since I took 222/222P after I end work from Ping Yi Sec towards Bedok MRT almost every weekday, I guess we could classify it as first-hand experience

If you see a 222/222P coming together, do you have a preference?

Crowds seems evenly split if those two services comes together. I normally took the one at the front, or the one my friends are taking. I can do a week worth of riding 222/222P for you if you want, but I will probably reply in a more relevant topic (maybe the loading one), as we are going off-topic here.
