By the way, I saw a ENVIRO 500 in bus service 972.
By by the way, I am a newbie! = )

Isn't it common sense that no standing on upper deck of a bus, regardless of operator? Ah well, Singapore isn't London.

What about 188? SBS ever used bi-axled DDs on 188 when it was still a new route.
SMB3503G's PIW bell shares the similar design(curved) as SMB5002Y's bell(all of them). While the PIW bell are curved, the rest of the bell(in 3503G) are "squarish-like"

Only possible for the 2 pairs of Exit in the middle like KMB's NAC 3-doors DD in the 80s/90s...
If a stronger engine body frame to hold the engine like Borismaster, but aircon system would be a problem as to where to place it lets say the 3rd-door is the same as Borismaster...

AC system could be roof mounted (which is done on the NBfL), but it is still not possible unless it is a hybrid.
NBfL could do this because the engine (generator) is not directly linked to the axle, and technically the bus is mid/side motored since the electric motor driving the bus is infront of the rear axle.
5002 on Sv972
Great!I have a strong feeling LTA will fund another batch of DDs as well as few more A24s starting next year.
Enviro 500 will gradually replace Habit and Volgren bendies while the A24 will replace box and smiley bendies
Thought zaobao said at least 15 DD delivered to Singapore by June... what speed is this that with only 3 DD on the road for revenue?

3504/3505 should be ready..but not yet register...
Got a feeling 964/962 may get DD(part of 951E crossovers) under BSEP...
3504-3507 should be registered next week. We can expect from end July more services with DDs.
Also 5003-5006 should be registered soon.

As I mentioned previously, a number of buses (e.g. 15) delivered by a period of time (e.g. June) does not mean that all of those number of buses would be in service around thwe same time...think 15 DDs are already delivered but not all has been registered.

The keyword is 'delivered', not registered.
I think 5003 - 5006 will register after a few more box bendy have dereg..
Saw more than 3 DD inside WLBP....
i think by next month 190?
they can easily transfer one of the 972 DD to 190 anytime they desire, and swap it with another SD or bendy

They want more people to move to 972, hence they are building DD capacity there instead of 190. From what I see there will be some WLDEP service like 960/963 getting DDs in next wave. 972 should get more SD --> DD conversions.
i would say out of the list of candidates for DD,
these two services 850E and 951E are currently the most desperately in need for DD to be deployed to mitigate overcrowding

I think these one will get them also next month. I want to see what they will do of the DDs once they finish their AM trip. Should crossover to other service. Should not do 850E or 951E in PM as PM load is well managed, instead should crossover to 960/963 after the AM trip is done.

960/963 don't have 951E cross...it's only 962 n 964 the likely candidate
