Dk why...waited for 169 arond 2:40pm @ RP and there were 2-3 buses flying pass me(opposite) to Woodland Int..but the frequency towards AMK wasn't bad.
I think they somewhat need to adjust the timetable, by putting more buses from 4-10pm..

The security issue might be the thing hampering the possibility of Sv 169 getting future DDs. It's not a big issue, but to those concerned about the security, the availability to even glimpse more into the camps might concern them.

How far can you see into the camp on a moving dd? I dont think its of any concern considering you can easily look through the fence anyway.
If there are any secrets to hide they would have done it by hiding it far inside the camp or underground (ahem... uaf?).

If you want DDs for army camps, shouldn't 172/975 get it too? (Although I know it may not be possible to do the U-Turn at LCK Rd End) IMO, 925 should get DDs too (Almost every industrial estates that is serves by buses have DDs plying it)

Cos everytime the SBS DDs passed by last time, they always get chased by those chao recruits who could see the tall-tall bus: OMIGOSH NINJA VAN
and I tell you, despo boys can out-run commando mozzies. That scared the bus drivers and they complained to LTA. So no more DD for 169. So sad right

SBS had put some DD on 169 then. Height is never a problem. if it is, explain svc 9, 19 and 89 with DDs?

To add on, 182 and 193, which uses DDs, passbys Jurong Camp, SAFTI MI and Pasir Laba Camps and particularly Jurong Camps and Pasir Laba Camps are quite sensitive with Intellenge, Signals units as well as TRADOC.

already given 3x BSEP fleet add is not real effort to correct the situation?.... and if u see the trend, Sv169 will be getting DDs... but not in the next three months... maybe next year..... the press release only show the services that will be getting in the next 3 months...
