Obviously there's an agenda. What's anything about KUB when they're the mass to provide WAB sv?
As for new buses, what justice are you holding now? 34 use MKIII is upholding justice to justify that 36 must flatter tourist at all cost? Then 34 no need Citaro or whatever buses?
The words is what your say one, but your alter it to make others look bad. Just like the feeder bus, anything but me until I dig if 913 does this and that.
Just as ppl are bashing abt double standards, here we've people doing it as well. What's the point of flattering tourist when Citaro can't handle big peak hr load?
i ask for citaro on 163 cannot ah? alot say 163 not packed leh... citaros just nice!
34 cannot have citaros... becoz number one, it's oredi fine and obese wif KUBs, citaros save 4 svc wif old buses or downgraded svc. put on 34 very waste. moreover, 34 so many ppl take, citaro can handle meh?
Citaro tbh, is not meant for buses that's have like 15 mins freq n loading is just nice for SD..
Citaro can't carry that many ppl w/ that layout.

then y 163 can't hv citaros?

You still dun get it?
15 mins headways, 80 - 90% loading you want Citaro?
Anyway, Hong Kong has MTR feeder buses... Dubbed in 'M' end prefix

Becos the good people doing deployment think so. You don't think they will put a bus type anywhere at their whims and fancy, do you?
Talk to you this type si beh tor hwee. Why don't we just make you another PIW then you can go and kow beh to your MP Intan to get you your Citaro 163

There are other feeders too, nt necessarily ending wif 'M' or connected to mtr stns.

OH YEAH... got MTR feeders to some village areas (like K66 to Tai Tong).
OK, i rephrase it: not everywhere got right? in fact MTR buses are SPECIALISED in feeders. There are none CTB/NWFB feeders, and those that are considered "feeders"in KMB are actually considered trunk as well.

Those are rail feeders that used to belong to KCRC b4 KCRC merge with MTR HK...

Please lah... give yr country a better impression to tourists can(especially those in wheelchairs)? u know lots of tourists take 36 to the city once they leave the airport to either their hotels or the tourist attractions what... i would rather you ask MKIII to 34 and return SBS8616Y/SBS8629K to 109/163 respectively.
din see this until now...
You want to spit blood, go ahead, u are just an armchair critic, comment w/o proper fact finding or investigation
Do you take sv36 everyday?! If not, dun make a fool of yourself coz it shows clearly your ignorance on sv36 capacity
I use the bus almost everyday n most of the BCs noe me...
Everyday sv36 is packed, weekend worse when scheduled fleet reduces and Batch 2 Scanias come in so more room for standing.
I see tourists on 36, from CGA very rare...
Tourists from overseas either take trains or taxis to their hotels/city area as it is cheaper, faster compared to their home country.
Every evening, SGreans are squashed to the door from Orc/Suntec
same scenario on weekends/PHs, it will worsen.
Where is the info/data that alot of tourists take sv36?!
Just because sv36 links CGA to city and you assume tourists use it, it shows you are very ignorant, naive and your total lack of transportation knowledge as SG gov promotes use of MRT as an alternative transport to taxis from CGA to city area.

Look man. I gotta point this out again.
This guy says 88 HAD a fleet of Striders when pressed for information after he says 88 HAS a fleet of Striders (never had a single perm to begin with).
Then he says 151 is flooded with K230UBs....(fairly acceptable but not quite true), and then floored me by saying it is also flooded with B9TLs......
Look bro, dont waste your time typing la. He's not even an armchair critic...can't even qualify to be one.

no. only north-west new territories have. a few can oso be found at north new territories.
Basically MTR buses serve less than 5% of HK... while KMB covers every INCH of HK. In fact, i can even bet wif u tat the number of svc KMB has is even more than the number of svc SBS+SMRT+CTB+NWFB has.
CTB/NWFB oso can be found quite commonly around HK.
FYI, there is once a one and only kowloon MTR bus svc who made it to the 21st century: K16. A suppplement feeder svc connecting WRL and ERL passengers. Sadly, that svc was withdrawn after the southern stretch of WRL opened. R.I.P... T-T that was the last ever MTR svc that has ever went out of new territories...

Eh... The East Rail MTR buses are operated by KMB.
KMB does not operate HK Island, those are Cross Harbour Rts.

But they aren't local HK Island routes...
Cross Harbour Svs was supposedly dual operated.. 108 broke the norm as CMB was not interested.
