167 reminds me of our basic services and 538, 539, 545, 547 sounds like our premium services...

Actually some of the private buses now still having this kind of body designs.
Yes, yes, 390!!!
That was before it receive the new Scania N113CRB air con buses back then.

That's wrong.
Bus in Bangkok are all regular service.
They have bus driver and employees of collect fares, different in SG has bus captain and fares machine.
Umm. At first time,Bus route in Bangkok (in 1955) has 35 routes.Count number 1 to the last number route. They used all non-aircon. buses.
Route 1........207 is Non-Aircon. bus route.
Since about 1984. they added Aircon. bus in that.
as...Route 29 39 44.
In 1975-1976.They have BMTA's aircon. bus,But they count Aircon. bus route different Non-aircon. bus as...
Route 7 : Klong Kwang - HuaLumPhong(Bangkok Train Station)
This is Non-Aircon. bus route and used all Non-Aircon. bus.
In Latter day. This route added aircon. bus. They called "Aircon. Route 7"
Thai lang. = Por Or. Sai 7. (ปà¸.สาย 7)
Route Aircon.7 : Southern Bus terminal - Samut Prakarn
This is Aircon. bus route and used all aircon. bus.
Thai lang. = Por Or. 7 (ปà¸.7)
In 2001. People are confuse bus route number between "Aircon.route 7 and Route Aircon.7"
People didn't understand. These were same or different?
BMTA decided change only Route Aircon. number "from Route Aircon.7 to Route 507" since 2001.
Some routes have Aircon.bus and non-aircon.bus. I feel that "It's regular event"
If you want to ride premium service, you can ride "Metrobus",Those are white 10M. buses.
They have bus captain and fare box.No certain same in SG. They have speed limit 60 KM/H.
You will try ride it.
Certainly,Before you ride Metrobus. You will feel near use service in SG.

The SBS ones were produced before the Euro emissions standards came in, and probably do not meet Euro 1 standards. the ones TIBS bought, however, meets Euro 1 standards.

I think it was after 1994 that EURO 1 buses were introduced. Even the Volvo B10M MK4, DM and Strider batch are EURO 1 standards only.
MB DM in route 48 : Ramkhamhang University (Bang Na Campus) - Wat Po
At National Stadium.
I saw only one bus in that route.
Hello There!
Would like to enquire. I'm heading to Bangkok sometime in Mid-June and would like to know which routes are our Buses running on? Do You have any ideas? And roughly where would be the best areas to take pictures of them? And also, how is the bus fare system there in Bangkok? It's my first trip there and I hope that will be the most memorable one! Thanks Alot! It will help me alot in planning my trip there :)

In Rangsit Garage. That is a full modify bus. At here It has about 20 buses and non modify about 5 Buses.

If you ride that,You must go to that bus stop.
And that,MB DM is route 539.It's parking at bus stop here but It's brokendown!!!
Then,538 was running from RangSit and go to bus stop at 539 was brokendown.

I think. If you will take a photo at Victory Monument, you should take that on Skywalk.
and you can choose anywhere on this for do that.
Then you take photo at ground floor. You should take that under the skywalk same I do that here.(You look my pic in this forum)
About other location. You can take a photo on the overpass or footpath(bus stop) same when you take that in Singapore.
