How many stars do u have on the initial d card??

Hello initial d fans out there, i was wondering how may tsras u have on ur initial d card. Cos i got 16 and find it very hard to increase the stars anymore unless i challenge people which i dun have much confident.. Is it true that for every 5 challengers u won, u can get a star? Pls advice..

me already have 14 stars on my mr2...but none came from battle points...first 6 from completed game....two stars for complete stroy mode twice.. rest from bunta challnge my battle ability only lvl.1. anyway yes u gat one star for every five battles won...enuff wins and ur car will have flamess mad enuf with 999 wins.....ur car flames white

You can only get a star when challenging people if only you don't take out your card even though you lose and continue to challenge them until you get 5 wins. It doesn't need to be 5 straight wins though. Say if you battle with somebody and you win and lose some rounds, as long as if you lose and you continue to challenge them until you collected 5 wins from them, you will get the star and level up. However if you collect 3 straight wins, the arcade machine will force you to take out your card and you collect 9000 pts for your 3rd win. Not sure if there is any other way to collect stars for battling with other player, but this is what I know.

yes correct, for every 5 battle races you won, you gain a star. The maximum amount of star you can reach is 10 star. good luck!
1. Complete Story Mode once (Max 6 Stars)
2. Play Bunta Mode (win 1 game in each of the 4 tracks - 1 star, max 10 stars)
3. Win 5 games in a Battle (1 star, max 10 stars)
4. Complete Story Mode 2nd time. (Max 6 Stars) -

Bunta battles are driving me mad. Have been getting my points deducted 4000 points at a time. Not progressing at all.

The arcade machine will not force you to take out the card after 3 straight wins. It will ask you if you wish to continue. This can actually be set by the arcade operator. I personally have 21 stars on my card but i'm just too lazy to get more. -
But does anybody know what the stars are for? Besides looking nice on the card itself.

The stars on the card represent your player level and the level in the card represent your battle level and thus has auras.
