  Battle Gear 3 is set to take players into another era of online racing. The major improvement made to the series is in the level of competition. As with most of the latest major games Battle Gear sporting a player access card system, but with a twist. Instead of using a card, this game uses a key. Each player's key is imprinted with an unique number, this allows the player's preferences and stats to be stored and retrieve no matter which arcade they play at.
  
  The game is developed on the System 246 arcade board, feature a new Net Entry System NESYS, which allows you to race against other players over the Internet, right in the arcade! There is also a real-time Net Ranking System, which displays the over top scores around the world. This system not only allows head to head competition in the same arcade but players from arcade across town or across the country can play head to head in real time.

  Played it once....found it to be pretty slow for a racing game.
  Lots of cars to choose from, including those from initial d version 2...funny thing is the wrx version 5 sports a 4 doors instead of bunta's 2 doors.
  Drift is executed by handbrake provided...can even race with a ghost car(car that is transplarent but is the ghost of the high time lap of that track.)
  I prefer initial d.
