7. Turn your
Steering Wheel to choose
AT - Auto Transmission, or
MT - Manual Transmission for your transmission for the game. You will not be able to change once you have set it. For AT, you will be able to gear down using the gear knob but not gear up. Press the
Start Button or depress the
accelerator to continue.
8. This screen shows you the various modification tat can be done to your car. A course and B course for the Mazada RX7. Some cars have C course included.
9. This is the part where your name will be printed on your card and displayed on your screen while you are playing. To change the alphabets to
english, move your cursor all the way to the right and move down to the center. This is to change your alphabets from Japanese characters to English characters. The direction can be controlled by the Steering wheel (Left, Right) and the gear knob (Up, Down). Use the
accelerator or the
start button to input your character. You will have only around 40 or 50 secs to fill in your name. After completing, move your cursot to the bottom right to complete it.
10. This will show the stats of your new car.
11. Finally, the last screen show 3 modes of play. The first one is the
Story Mode where you challenge 1 on 1 with computer players. After completing a stage beating all 4 opponents, an icon will be printed on your initial d card. The second option is the Time Attack option where you play against your own time without any opponent. The last one is the challenge agains Fujiwara Bunta, each time you win him, you get a star added and the difficulty increases. If you lose to him, you lose 1000 points.
